In a forest where Firestar, Brambleclaw, and Squirrelflight are just myths, four Clans have lived in harmony for many seasons. But a betrayal, hidden by shadows of deceit and lies, has come into the light. With StarClan long since past, the four Clans look desperatley for a sign from their own warrior ancestors: the late cats of CorpseClan. The messages that receive are confused and amount to nothing. The once peaceful Clans settle on the only thing that they can think of, the only thing they can work out from CorpseClan. A battle. But though the Medicine Cats swear that the battle is what CorpseClan wanted, they know in the pit of their souls it is a lie. They have twisted the broken words of their warrior ancestors to fit their ends of giving the Clan something to cling to. With both the weight of betrayal and the lie of a false message, will CorpseClan turn their backs on their old home and leave the Clans to murder eachother until none are left?

Join Mysterystar, leader of BlizzardClan as she struggles to find the meaning of stolen or missing kits. Would they fight to the death for them?

Burningstar, leader of FlameClan, as he is caught between belief in his Medicine Cat and belief in hisself. And how can he ensure the loyalty of an apprentice who's origins are not of his Clan?

Shiningstar, leader of EarthClan, as she tries to work out an explination for two kits in her Clan that are not of EarthClan birth. And a self-exiled cat who refuses to speak to her former Clanmates, but could very well hold the future in her paws.

And Oceanstar, leader of StormClan, as she is faced with four kittypets who have come to her Clan, and with kin scattered about the forest, could she bear to attack them?

With the leaders struggling to hold their Clan together, and with the Medicine Cats putting false beliefs into the Clans' minds, what will become of the deputies? Will the responsibilities of leading their clan into battle make their ancestors turn their backs on them?

Come and find out.
